Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

 

Author Guidelines for Manuscript Submission

  1. Title:
  • Limit the title to 15 words.
  • Ensure the title is concise and accurately reflects the content of the manuscript.
  1. Author Name(s):
  • Include the full name of each author.
  • Use initials for the author's first name if preferred.
  • Provide the ORCID iD of each author if available.
  1. Affiliation:
  • Include the designation of the author(s) (e.g., Dr., Prof.) and institutional address(es).
  • Clearly specify the department(s) and institution(s) to which each author is affiliated.
  1. Corresponding Author:
  • Clearly identify the corresponding author.
  • Provide the corresponding author's email address and mobile number for communication purposes.
  1. Abstract:
  • Limit the abstract to a maximum of 250 words.
  • Provide a concise summary of the study objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Include keywords (6-10) that best describe the content of the manuscript.
  • Keywords 3-6 
  1. Introduction:
  • Clearly state the purpose of the study and the research question(s).
  • Provide a brief overview of the relevant literature and the rationale for the study.
  1. Methodology:
  • Describe the study design, including the setting, participants, and data collection methods.
  • Provide details of any interventions or treatments administered.
  1. Results:
  • Present the findings of the study in a logical sequence.
  • Use tables, figures, and graphs to enhance the presentation of results where appropriate.
  1. Discussion:
  • Interpret the results in the context of existing literature.
  • Discuss the implications of the findings and their relevance to clinical practice or research.
  1. Conclusion:
  • Provide a clear and concise summary of the main findings.
  • Avoid introducing new information or arguments in the conclusion.
  1. Recommendations:
  • Offer recommendations for future research or clinical practice based on the study findings.
  1. Acknowledgement:
  • Acknowledge any individuals or organizations that contributed to the study but do not meet the criteria for authorship.
  1. Ethical Considerations:
  • Provide details of ethical approval obtained for the study, including the reference number.
  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
  1. Abbreviations:
  • Define any abbreviations used in the manuscript at their first mention.
  1. Funding:
  • Disclose any funding sources that supported the study.
  1. Conflict of Interest:
  • Declare any conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of the study findings.
  1. References:
  • Follow the APA citation style for references.
  • Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.
  1. Formatting:
  • Use Times New Roman font, size 12, and single-spacing throughout the manuscript.
  • Set 1-inch margins on all sides.
  1. Figures and Tables:
  • Include figures and tables where necessary to enhance the presentation of data.
  • Ensure all figures and tables are cited in the text and have appropriate titles and captions.
  1. Proofreading:
  • Thoroughly proofread the manuscript for grammar, spelling, and typographical errors before submission.
  1. Review:
  • All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process before acceptance for publication.
  • Authors will receive feedback from reviewers to improve the quality of their manuscript.
  1. Submission:
  • Submit the manuscript through the journal's online submission system.
  • Follow the submission guidelines provided on the journal's website.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
